DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nOxford Milonga  – A welcoming inclusive traditional milonga in the heart of Oxford.\nIt is held on the last Friday of the month at the West Oxford Community Centre, Botley Road, Oxford OX2 0BT.\nWe will be re-creating a warm and wonderful atmosphere with great dancing.\nOur entry fee is £10 (students with a student card £7). We always welcome volunteers who can help with set-up, so you are welcome to come a little early. We also appreciate any help to pack away after.\n* A short walk from the Oxford Railway and Bus stations.\n* A lovely sprung wooden floor.\n* Great tandas prepared by resident DJ El Loco.\n* A welcoming community of tango dancers embracing all comers.\nDoors open: 19:45; dancing from 20:00 until 23:15. Please use the the back door for entry.\n* Nibbles, pizza (21:30 – 22:00), tea & coffee, light refreshments, free raffle, and BYOB if you wish.\nCOVID-19: Alas, COVID is still circulating. There are no preconditions for entry, but please only come if you are feeling well. We will have doors open for ventilation (where possible), so a shawl or scarf is advised.\nTransport and Parking: The Oxford train station is 5 minute walk, while the central bus station is a 10 minute walk. There is parking for about 10 cars at the venue itself. The Park and Ride bus service (Seacourt) stops outside the venue. You can also find plenty more free on-street parking around the corner in Ferry Hinksey Road – a 5 minute walk.
