DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nAmbassador Tango Cup 2025 & the Iconic Milonga at the Argentine Residence!\n\nWe are thrilled to announce the 5th Edition of the Ambassador Tango Cup this year!\n\n\nSemi-final & Final: 15:00 – 17:30\nMilonga: 18:00 – 23:00\n\n📍 Venue: The Argentine Residence, 49 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8QZ\n\n\n\n👠 For competitors:\n\nThere will be a small participation fee, which includes entry to the Saturday Milonga (at The Light) and priority access to the Sunday Milonga at the Argentine Residence.\nRegistration link\nFacebook page\nMore details below\n\n\n\n💃 For social dancers:\n\n\n\nRight after the competition concludes, join us for an unforgettable milonga from 6pm to 11pm, held in the stunning ballroom of the Argentine Residence.\n\n\n\nApproximately 140 free tickets will be available for the Milonga at the Residence on Sunday. Please note: demand is high — in previous years, over 200 tangueros wanted to attend.\n\n🎟 Tickets will be released during the five days leading up to the event, so be ready to grab yours quickly!\n\n🧳 Tangueros travelling from outside London who need to purchase transport tickets in advance — please send us a PM. A limited number of travel support tickets are available for this group.\n\n\n\n📌 Competition Details:\n • Open to amateur tanguer@s currently residing in the UK (of any nationality), with at least one year of UK residency prior to the competition date.\n • All participants must be 18 years or older.\n • Four categories:\n • Tango Pista\n • Senior Tango (both dancers must be 60+ years old)\n • Vals\n • Milonga\n\nWe are proud to share that a group of esteemed local teachers and maestros will form the Judging Panel, to be announced in the coming weeks.\n\n🏆 Prizes:\n\nFirst Place Winners (in each category) will receive:\n • The official title of Ambassador Tango Cup Winner for one year\n • A trophy for each champion\n • Tango Pista Champions: Free registration to compete in the Pista category at La Turca Tango Championship 2026\n • Senior, Vals & Milonga Champions: 50% off registration to compete in any category at La Turca Tango Championship 2026\n\nSecond Place Winners:\n • Trophy + Honorable Mention\n\n🕊️ This event is proudly organised by the Argentine Embassy and the Tango Stops Team.\n\nwww.tangostops.com\nwww.ambassadortangocup.com\n\n\n\nGoogle Map\n \n\n
