DESCRIPTION:Come dance with us for Tango Café @ Fresh Ground!\nNo class, just milonga 2-7pm, £10.\n—-\nLovely hall with a very nice wood floor and a cafe with extra seating\nGreat traditional tango tunes from DJ Katerina\nA very warm welcome from your hosts Alan and Katerina\n\n—\n— Covid precautions\nPlease don’t come if you have cold / possible covid symptoms. The venue has a modern climate control system with outside air supply and we’ll make good use of that.\n\n— Food and drink\nThe cafe will be open until 6pm and it offers coffee (!), a range of soft and hot drinks, cakes from a local baker and light meals. We will of course provide water for the duration. We are keen on reducing waste so would really appreciate if you can bring your own water bottle, which can be refilled at the venue (we’ll have backup but hoping not to use it much!)\nIf you are after a pre or post milonga meal, you will be spoiled for choice with a fine selection of bars and restaurants on both Battersea Rise and Northcote Road.\n\n— Travel\nClapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue.\nIf you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone and outside ULEZ (but the ULEZ starts immediately north of it so take care). Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones – please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map).
