Ambassador’s Tango Cup
We are very happy to confirm that the next Ambassador’s Tango Cup will take place at the Argentine Residence on 3 December 2023.
The competition is going to be open to amateur and professional tanguer@s living in the UK.
There will be two categories: Pista Tango & Stage Tango.
The competition is NOT an official preliminary of the Tango BA (Festival & Dance World Cup)
The winning couples will have free and direct access to the Semifinals of the next UK Tango Championship in June 2024.
The champions of both categories will have the titles of ”Argentine Tango Ambassador in The UK” for one year or until the next Ambassador’s Tango Cup.
We are very proud that a large group of local teachers/maestros have agreed to work together to make a great panel of Judges, they will all be announced in the coming days.
Just after the competition, there will be a Milonga starting @ 5pm until 10pm in the stunning ballroom of the Argentine Residence.
Registration for the competition is free and to attend the milonga there is a fee for the non competitors.
